Last time the Chargers were 0-6, their QBs were Ryan Leaf, Moses Moreno and Jim Harbaugh

The present Chargers squad has hit an identical zero and six win-loss mark through six weeks that hasn't been matched since the dismal two thousand campaign. Current head coach Jim Harbaugh was actually part of that historical roster as a signal-caller during a tumultuous period that ultimately concluded with a dismal one and fifteen record.

Back then, San Diego initially pinned their hopes on Ryan Leaf as the primary starter after selecting him high in the draft years prior. When Leaf struggled mightily and dealt with a shoulder issue, the franchise turned briefly to Moses Moreno before he also succumbed to injury and poor performance.

Harbaugh eventually stepped in under center, sparking an offensive surge against the defending champion Rams even though the defense ultimately surrendered fifty-seven points in a defeat. The team eventually rotated back to Leaf later in the schedule, finishing with a franchise-worst mark that the current group now risks matching.
