South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers provided a scare for his team during Saturday's matchup against Texas A&M when he sustained an ankle injury during the second quarter and went to the locker room for X-rays. Fortunately for the Gamecocks, their star playmaker managed to step back onto the field at the start of the third quarter and resumed playing without any visible limitations.
Before his temporary departure, Sellers had accumulated 151 passing yards and a touchdown through the air while completing 10 of his 15 attempts. Head coach Shane Beamer expressed clear concern at halftime while the signal-caller was being evaluated following a sack that also resulted in a lost fumble at the opponent 18-yard line.
