Klint Kubiak is the early favorite for coach of the year

Following a 35-27 triumph over Kellen Moore and the Saints, Klint Kubiak has emerged as the leading candidate for the top coaching honor. This success elevates the franchise to a pristine 3-0 record, a dramatic reversal from their dismal three-win campaign the previous year.

By capturing his first three games, Kubiak joins an exclusive club alongside historical figures Bill Callahan and John Madden.

Achieving this early recognition would place the current manager ahead of his father, Gary, who never secured the accolade during his own career. With the roster performing at a high level, the early victories appear sustainable rather than accidental as the season progresses.
