Kick It Out receives record number of discrimination reports

Anti-discrimination group Kick It Out processed a record 1,744 prejudice complaints across grassroots, professional, and digital spaces during the inaugural twelve months of its Football United initiative. Chief executive Samuel Okafor noted that while the figures demonstrate persistent industry challenges, they also reflect heightened willingness among affected communities to speak out, aided by alliances with groups such as The Frank Soo Foundation, Her Game Too, and Football v Homophobia.

Beyond complaints management, the organization engaged over 11,000 individuals through educational workshops, ran professional development sessions, and teamed up with Guinness 0.0 alongside Greene King to train more than 3,000 pub workers on spotting and addressing prejudice.
