Kentucky still misses top 25 in US LBM Coaches Poll

Despite a four and zero start culminating in a forty-five to twenty-one triumph over South Alabama, the Kentucky Wildcats remained outside the top twenty-five in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll. The squad climbed to twenty-seventh overall with one hundred twenty-three votes following a contest that proved more difficult than expected due to a sluggish first half.

Meanwhile, the Southeastern Conference maintained a strong presence in the rankings, placing nine universities in the top twenty-five led by the Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs in the top two positions. The Florida Gators surged fourteen spots into eighth place after defeating Ole Miss, while Mississippi State also jumped eleven positions.

Kentucky aims to break into the top tier next week when they square off against South Carolina.
