Kenny Minchey hits an achievement no other Kentucky Football quarterback has reached

Kentucky quarterback Kenny Minchey entered the campaign with modest expectations following his transfer from Notre Dame. Despite limited prior experience as a starter, he has guided the Wildcats to a 5-1 overall record and a 3-1 standing in the SEC with victories over top-10 opponents like Texas A&M and LSU.

Analyst Corey Price noted that Minchey recently achieved a historic milestone for the program by throwing for at least 245 yards with zero interceptions and a completion percentage of 63 percent or higher against multiple AP Top 10 teams in a single season. During the recent win against LSU, he completed 23 of 36 passes for 246 yards and an 80.9 QBR.

Across six contests this year, the signal-caller has accumulated 1,148 passing yards and 11 touchdowns against just one interception, surpassing the 250-yard mark on four separate occasions.
