Josh Allen tied the Buffalo Bills’ franchise record for career passing touchdowns with his 258th connection, a backhanded shovel pass to wide receiver Keon Coleman in the third quarter of the 33-30 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. He entered the game with 256 touchdowns, one shy of Jim Kelly’s mark, and added a nine‑yard strike to Khalil Shakir in the second quarter to reach 257 before the game‑winning play.
The unusual shovel pass on 3rd‑and‑8 from the Raiders’ 12‑yard line gave Buffalo a 23-13 lead with just over six minutes left in the third period, cementing the tie with Kelly’s 258 career touchdowns. Allen achieved this in 134 regular‑season games and 15 postseason appearances, compared with Kelly’s 160 regular‑season and 17 postseason games.
