Jets make kicker decision after Jason Sanders’ up-and-down Week 1

The New York Jets will be missing starting safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for their upcoming home contest against the Green Bay Packers. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed on Friday that Fitzpatrick cannot participate due to a groin problem sustained during the sixth defensive snap of the team's road victory over Tennessee.

Fitzpatrick's absence leaves the secondary shorthanded as they prepare to face Jordan Love and the Packers' potent aerial attack.

Three other contributors have also been sidelined for Sunday's matchup. Defensive end Joseph Ossai is unavailable because of a foot issue, first-year wideout Omar Cooper Jr. is sidelined by an ankle sprain, and running back and return specialist Kene Nwangwu will sit out with a back ailment.
