The Baltimore Ravens improved to 4-1 after overcoming the Atlanta Falcons in overtime on Sunday night, despite playing without their star quarterback. Lamar Jackson, who suffered an ankle sprain in Week 4, remains sidelined for now, though head coach John Harbaugh’s interim replacement, Jesse Minter, noted progress in Jackson’s recovery.
“He’s definitely doing better,” Minter said, adding that Jackson’s leadership from the sideline—including hyping up teammates and offering guidance to backup Tyler Huntley—has been a standout. Huntley stepped in for the injured Jackson, completing 24 of 32 passes for 201 yards, two touchdowns, and adding a rushing score on six carries.
Meanwhile, Minter hinted at potential returns for key players ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, including center Cam Jurgens nearing the end of concussion protocol, along with receiver Jacobi Lane and linebacker Trey Hendrickson, who could also be available.
