ESPN has expanded its NBA broadcast team with two prominent additions for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. Jeremy Lin, the former New York Knicks star, will join the network full-time after previously appearing on a part-time basis last year.
Lin’s inclusion comes after he contributed to ESPN’s coverage during the Knicks’ NBA Finals run, solidifying his role as a key analyst. Meanwhile, Jason Kidd, a Hall of Fame point guard and former Dallas Mavericks head coach, is transitioning to full-time television after his departure from the Mavs following a 26-56 season under his leadership.
The franchise opted to shift direction after Cooper Flagg’s rookie year, prioritizing his development in a different setting. Both analysts will join established voices like Richard Jefferson, Tim Legler, and Doris Burke on game broadcasts, while Kidd will also appear on *NBA Countdown* alongside Malika Andrews and Kendrick Perkins.
Lin will contribute to *NBA Today*, rounding out ESPN’s expanded lineup for the new season.
