Jayden Reed will undergo season-ending surgery

The Green Bay Packers have suffered a major blow to their receiving corps as wide receiver Jayden Reed prepares for season-ending neck surgery. With Reed sidelined and placed on injured reserve for the duration of the 2026 campaign, quarterback Jordan Love will have to adjust without one of his key weapons.

Analysts note that Christian Watson is positioned to maintain his strong production at the top of the wide receiver depth chart. Despite losing a significant contributor, the team still possesses enough offensive depth among its remaining playmakers to navigate the rest of the year.
