Jayden Daniels out this week, Marcus Mariota starts again

Washington will be without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels for another contest as he continues recovering from an elbow injury. Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed that Daniels remains sidelined after limited practice sessions, meaning Marcus Mariota will handle quarterback duties during the upcoming matchup against Indianapolis across the Atlantic.

Mariota previously directed the offense to a narrow victory over Seattle, completing nineteen of thirty-one passes for one hundred eighty-three yards and three scores. In addition to the quarterback situation, Washington anticipates welcoming back linebacker Frankie Luvu and tight end Chig Okonkwo for the contest, as both individuals are ready to return following a two-game absence.
