Jaycee Horn out indefinitely with torn quad

Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn is facing a lengthy absence after suffering a quadriceps tear during recent action. Insider Ian Rapaport reports that the star defender is pursuing additional medical evaluations while heading toward the injured list, with a potential multi-month recovery window threatening his availability for the remainder of the campaign.

This setback delivers a heavy blow to the defensive unit, particularly as fellow cornerback Mike Jackson is simultaneously managing a groin issue. Prior to this unfortunate development, Horn had successfully dispelled durability concerns by appearing in the vast majority of contests across the previous couple of seasons, leaving his club scrambling to patch together their defensive backfield in his absence.
