Jameis Winston on J.J. McCarthy: I have to play well regardless of who else is here

Ahead of the upcoming weekend matchup against the Cardinals, Giants quarterback Jameis Winston addressed the recent acquisition of J.J. McCarthy via trade.

Winston will take the field as the starter on Sunday, maintaining that his approach remains unchanged despite the new competition behind center. Following a five-point victory against the Titans where he completed fourteen of twenty-two attempts for one hundred eighteen yards without a turnover, Winston emphasized that performance expectations are always high for the franchise regardless of roster additions.

The organization moved to bolster the position after Jaxson Dart was sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.
