Islanders Gameday News: Life without Romanov, again

The New York Islanders face a major roster hurdle as defenseman Alex Romanov has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign following an anterior cruciate ligament tear. This severe medical setback for Romanov marks the second straight year he will miss the entire season due to injury.

Meanwhile, the club secured an entry-level agreement with young prospect Vladimir Dravecky ahead of their upcoming home matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks.
