Evan Bouchard continues historic start, Oilers pummel Ducks in 2nd period in 5-2 win

The Edmonton Oilers stormed back from an early deficit to dominate the Anaheim Ducks in a 5-2 victory, with their second-period blitz marking a pivotal moment in their season. After Anaheim jumped out to two first-period goals on the power play, the Oilers turned the tide with a relentless offensive surge, including a standout performance from rookie Evan Bouchard.

This win carries added weight as the two teams are locked in a playoff rematch after Edmonton’s first-round exit last spring, setting the stage for a highly anticipated series. The Oilers now sit at 2-0-1 on the season, extending their strong start with five points from six possible games.
