Indiana fell to Ohio State 19-15, ending a 22-game winning streak and leaving the Hoosiers with a 6-1 record. Head coach Curt Cignetti highlighted the numerous missed chances, noting that the offense failed to capitalize both early and late in the game, despite solid defensive play.
Cignetti pointed to a late‑game scenario where quarterback Josh Hoover found receiver Nick Marsh wide open, only for Marsh to step out of bounds before securing a touchdown. He also referenced a red‑zone field‑goal miss at the end of the first half that could have given Indiana the lead.
The team now looks to rebound against Michigan on Oct. 24.
