India coach Gambhir celebrates India's fearless cricket in Guwahati ODI

Head coach Gautam Gambhir recently took to social media to praise his squad for a record-breaking run chase against West Indies. Opening batters Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill laid the foundation by putting up a massive partnership, with Rohit contributing a century and Shubman smashing the fastest double century in the history of ODI cricket to secure the win.

Despite the successful result, Gambhir voiced serious doubts regarding the playing conditions. He criticized the pitch for offering zero assistance to bowlers, arguing that such high-scoring surfaces diminish the true contest between bat and ball, particularly for younger bowlers.
