The upcoming fifth season of the International League T20 is preparing for its player auction in Dubai on the first of October. Hundreds of cricketers representing dozens of countries will be available for selection as franchises finish shaping their rosters.
Each organization enters the event with a baseline budget of 1.3 million dollars, alongside any leftover funds from their initial pre-signings. MI Emirates holds the largest initial purchasing power at 1.39 million dollars, while both the Dubai Capitals and Sharjah Warriorz start with the minimum threshold of 1.3 million dollars.
Every franchise is required to spend at least 1.5 million dollars total and assemble squads ranging from 18 to 23 players. Numerous prominent international stars have already been locked in through pre-auction agreements and direct returns to their previous franchises.
