Christian McCaffrey not worried about thigh injury moving forward

San Francisco running back Christian McCaffrey exited Sunday's contest against the Falcons during the opening quarter due to a thigh ailment. Although he managed to re-enter the game after halftime, the team ultimately fell to their first defeat of the 2026 campaign.

McCaffrey described the sensation as his leg suddenly failing him, though he downplayed long-term concerns regarding the injury. He plans to utilize the upcoming Week 8 bye to recover alongside other teammates dealing with health setbacks.
