Huskies Won't Face Bad-Boy USC Linebacker

The University of Washington will not have to contend with USC linebacker Desman Stephens this weekend after the Trojans disciplined the defender with a one-game ban. Stephens received the punishment following a dangerous hit on Oregon quarterback Dante Moore during a previous contest held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Both Stephens and USC head coach Lincoln Riley released remorseful statements addressing the incident, which left the opposing quarterback hospitalized before he was later cleared to return home.
