How good is Indiana? + Can BYU carry the Big 12 against Notre Dame? + JMU on the move

Indiana’s upcoming clash with Ohio State has analysts dissecting just how formidable the Hoosiers truly are entering a pivotal matchup. The Hoosiers, under Curt Cignetti, face a critical test that could redefine their season, while BYU takes on Notre Dame in a Big 12 showdown where the Cougars shoulder the weight of conference expectations.

Beyond these marquee games, Week 7 delivers a quadbox-worthy slate, with standout matchups like Oklahoma State at Houston and Wisconsin at UCLA offering high-stakes drama. Meanwhile, James Madison University has made a significant move, voting to leave the Sun Belt for the American Athletic Conference, a shift that underscores the Dukes’ sustained success regardless of conference alignment.

The announcement also hints at broader realignment trends reshaping college football’s landscape.
