How Giants are adjusting to J.J. McCarthy trade

The New York Giants recently acquired quarterback J.J. McCarthy from the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a fifth-round draft selection.

This roster move addresses a major need following a season-ending knee injury suffered by Jaxson Dart. Although McCarthy will sit out the upcoming matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, teammates anticipate he will assume starting duties later in the campaign.

Tight end Isaiah Likely noted that players are actively helping the newcomer transition by sharing terminology during practices, video sessions, and casual interactions.
