Houston Cougars debut incredible space-themed helmets for UCF game

The Houston football program is unveiling a creative solar system themed helmet collection for Saturday's upcoming Space Bowl matchup against UCF. Instead of wearing identical lids, forty five squad members will sport sun designs, twenty three will wear Mercury variants, and a lone player will showcase a hand painted Pluto model.

Both universities share historical ties to NASA and are bringing fresh aesthetics to the field, with the Knights also showcasing a new visual setup for the contest. Houston secured a tight thirty to twenty seven victory when these programs last met, though the Knights maintain an eight to four advantage in the all time series.
