Hope's 162 breaks Dilshan's 17-year-old record in historic chase vs India

Shai Hope delivered an unforgettable performance, finishing with an undefeated knock of 162 to guide his squad to a sensational victory during a daunting run chase. The visiting side successfully overhauled a massive target of 351, which had been anchored by KL Rahul's impressive contribution of 129 runs.

Despite battling physical fatigue as the contest neared its conclusion, Hope dramatically increased his scoring rate to secure the highest successful one-day international chase in his team's history. The decisive breakthrough was achieved with 10 balls remaining, eclipsing a longstanding scoring milestone previously held by Tillakaratne Dilshan.
