High-stakes series decider: India face West Indies with record on the line

Bengaluru is set to host the deciding fifth fixture of the T20 series between India and the visiting West Indies squad, with the scoreline deadlocked at two matches apiece. The tourists aim to claim their inaugural series triumph on Indian territory, while the home side strives to maintain its long-standing undefeated home streak.

Previous partnerships from openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma have yielded modest totals, placing additional responsibility on middle-order batters like Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, and Tilak Varma amid bowling struggles. Meanwhile, the Caribbean squad features skipper Shai Hope alongside power hitters Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Shimron Hetmyer, and Rovman Powell, supported by a bowling unit spearheaded by Keemo Paul.
