Thirty-one-year-old forward James Chisholm has called time on his professional career after being unable to overcome the lingering effects of an Achilles tendon rupture sustained in January 2025. Throughout his career, the forward made 164 total appearances, crossed the try line 21 times, and secured a league championship during the 2020-21 campaign.
Reflecting on his departure, the long-serving player admitted that despite giving pre-season his utmost effort following a difficult rehabilitation process, his physical condition would not permit him to continue. Head coach Jason Gilmore paid tribute to his loyalty as a lifelong member of the organization, praising his strong influence both during matches and inside the dressing room.
