Football legend Brian Dawkins publicly stated he never authorized the Department of Homeland Security to utilize his identity or archival clips in a recent internet posting. The federal agency previously shared a reel featuring the former defensive star accompanied by phrasing regarding a traveling group of migrants approaching the national border.
Following the publication, a league representative confirmed that the organization formally requested the removal of the footage.
Despite the professional appeal from the organization, an agency attorney declined the takedown request through a digital cartoon reaction on social media. Dawkins spent sixteen professional campaigns in the sport, primarily representing the Philadelphia Eagles before finishing his playing career with the Denver Broncos prior to his retirement.
The standout defensive back accumulated over one thousand tackles and earned enshrinement into the hall of fame.
