Guardians News: Home Runs Win Playoff Games

Yesterday's postseason matchups showcased power hitting as the deciding factor, with the Dodgers defeating the Braves 3-2 in home runs, the Yankees edging the Rays behind a brilliant performance by Drew Rasmussen, and the Brewers blanking the Padres 2-0 on long balls. Meanwhile, the Guardians fell to the White Sox after their top six batters went hitless in eighteen at-bats and failed to clear the fences.

Following the shutout defeat, Cleveland will look to reset during an off-day and adjust to difficult afternoon shadows before the next contest. The team will also need to clean up base-running mistakes after suffering costly outs at third base.
