The Golden State Warriors are looking for trade partners for 31-year-old center Kristaps Porzingis due to concerns over his availability. Porzingis is currently managing autoimmune symptoms related to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and is weighing his future in basketball.
While the team declined to comment on trade rumors or health details, they noted that Porzingis will not be with the team for the time being.
Head coach Steve Kerr has maintained communication with the player through calls and texts, emphasizing his support for the athlete's well-being. Recently, Porzingis met with vice president of player health and performance Rick Celebrini and general manager Mike Dunleavy.
The center later shared on X that he is collaborating with medical specialists to recover his health, though he admitted the process has been frustrated by vague symptoms and previous injuries.
