Giants turn to familiar face for edge depth

The New York franchise has added an eleven-year veteran to bolster their defensive line following a season-ending injury to Brian Burns. Jihad Ward rejoins the organization after previously spending time with both the Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans.

To accommodate the new defender on the roster, management released defensive tackle Josh Tupou. The thirty-two-year-old edge defender previously played in New York during the 2022 and 2023 campaigns under the current defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson and head coach John Harbaugh.
