Giants linebacker Tremaine Edmunds out for remainder of 2026 season with shoulder injury

The New York Giants have received confirmation that linebacker Tremaine Edmunds will miss the remainder of the 2026 season due to a significant injury. This development comes as the team prepares for their upcoming matchup against the Houston Texans.

In addition to the loss of Edmunds, the Giants have ruled out cornerback Greg Newsome II for the same contest. These defensive absences arrive as the franchise navigates a season already marked by multiple long-term injuries to key contributors.
