Giants don't plan to add Odell Beckham Jr. to the practice squad "at this time"

Odell Beckham Jr. has been released by the New York Giants as the franchise made room on the active roster for wide receivers Braxton Berrios and Charlie Jones, both of whom contribute significantly on special teams.

According to reports from ESPN, the organization currently has no intention of placing Beckham on the practice squad. This decision follows mounting roster pressures compounded by a knee injury sustained by starting quarterback Jaxson Dart, forcing management to prioritize contributors across all phases of the game.

Beckham previously sat out the entirety of last season and now faces an uncertain future regarding whether he will catch on with another club such as the Los Angeles Rams or San Francisco 49ers.
