Georgia football flips nation's No. 1 JUCO recruit

The Georgia Bulldogs secured a major recruiting victory by securing a commitment from top-ranked junior college defensive prospect Alius Mayo. The standout cornerback previously pledged to the California Golden Bears before shifting his allegiance following an official visit to Athens.

Mayo stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 190 pounds, bringing impressive physical attributes to the defensive backfield. During his stint at Modesto College, he recorded thirty tackles, one interception, and five pass breakups across eleven contests.
