Geno Smith’s fumble ruins strong outing and costs New York Jets a win

Despite a stellar passing display from Geno Smith that included three touchdowns and over three hundred yards, a late turnover sealed a close defeat for the New York squad. Smith engineered a tie late into the final quarter and connected frequently with Kenyon Sadiq, but five total sacks ultimately undermined their efforts.

On the injury front, teammate Dylan Parham exited the contest early due to a knee problem following a difficult day on the offensive line. Meanwhile, Darren Waller posted strong receiving numbers for Carolina in a losing effort, establishing a reliable connection with his quarterback.
