Game Time Set for Rutgers Football at Northwestern

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will face the Northwestern Wildcats in a Big Ten showdown on **October 24**, with kickoff set for **noon ET** at Northwestern’s newly opened **Ryan Field**. The game marks the Wildcats’ third contest in their $875 million stadium, which debuted last month, while Rutgers arrives as the underdog after a **1-4 start** to the season.

Northwestern, meanwhile, enters the matchup riding a **4-1 record** and a No. 25 ranking in the AP Poll, having lost only to Indiana in their first five games.

The Wildcats will look to extend their recent momentum, having already defeated two of the Big Ten’s weaker teams in recent weeks, while Rutgers seeks to disrupt Northwestern’s home advantage after a tough road trip to Maryland this weekend. The matchup will air live on **Peacock**, offering fans a chance to witness how these two teams compare in their first meeting of the season.
