Frederick: Lynx foot came off the gas at the end of the regular season. Can they re-find their form?

After blazing through the initial months of the schedule with a dominant 31-7 record by mid-August, the Minnesota basketball squad experienced a noticeable late-season dip, finishing the regular season stretch with a 2-4 mark. Head coach Cheryl Reeve pointed out the performance slippage following a lengthy FIBA break and a secure postseason seed, noting the challenge of maintaining peak execution.

However, a strong defensive showing in the regular season finale against Indiana provided a reassuring glimpse of the intensity and connection required for a deep playoff run.
