Former Vol will return to Tennessee with Auburn

Seventeenth-ranked Tennessee is set to host Auburn in a Week 5 Southeastern Conference matchup at Neyland Stadium on Saturday afternoon, broadcast on ESPN. This contest brings senior wide receiver Chas Nimrod back to Knoxville to face his former squad.

Nimrod spent three seasons playing for the Volunteers under head coach Josh Heupel before eventually reuniting with former assistant Alex Golesh at Auburn. Through the initial four games of the current campaign, Nimrod has secured 22 catches totaling 240 yards and two scores, sharing the team lead in receptions alongside Keshaun Singleton, who paces the Tigers with 268 receiving yards.

Both programs enter the weekend holding matching 3-1 overall records, with Auburn standing at 1-1 in conference play and Tennessee searching for its first league victory.
