Jerry Neuheisel secured another victory against the Nittany Lions on Saturday, leading the Wildcats to a 34-13 triumph and a 3-1 record for the campaign. Serving in his first season as quarterbacks coach alongside offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, Neuheisel relied heavily on a ground attack that accumulated 413 rushing yards while surpassing the opponent for the second consecutive year.
Caleb Komolafe and Joseph Himon II each contributed over 160 yards on the ground during the contest.
Previously, Neuheisel made his playcalling debut with the Bruins last year in a 42-37 win over the seventh-ranked Nittany Lions. Following this latest result, the Wildcats stand at 3-1 after a prior loss to Indiana, while the opposition dropped to 3-2 following defeats against Wisconsin and the recent matchup.
