Former South Africa batsman Colin Ingram to walk off into the sunset after the last Glamorgan game

After a professional journey spanning two decades, former South Africa international Colin Ingram has announced his retirement from cricket. The veteran left-hander will play his final fixture for Glamorgan against Essex as the county championship schedule concludes.

Ingram amassed 31 ODI and nine T20I appearances for his country following a debut that featured a century against Zimbabwe, alongside further hundreds against Pakistan and stints in the Indian Premier League. Having served as a Kolpak player since joining Glamorgan in 2015, the 41-year-old will immediately transition into a coaching role with the county club, as confirmed by Director of Cricket Mark Wallace.
