Current and former England captain break into top five of ICC men’s T20I rankings

Strong individual displays against Sri Lanka have propelled several English cricketers upward in the latest International Cricket Council men's T20 international rankings. Current skipper Harry Brook and predecessor Jos Buttler both secured places inside the top five batters following stellar series contributions with the bat.

Meanwhile, teammate Jamie Overton achieved a massive surge into sixth position among bowlers after collecting five wickets across the fixtures.
