Former Buffalo Sabres Star Has Great Debut With New Team

Alex Tuch made a strong first impression following his recent acquisition by Washington, scoring a pair of tallies during a 5-2 victory against Carolina on Friday evening. The forward ignited the offense by netting the opening score roughly six and a half minutes into the opening frame.

Prior to joining his new club on an eight-year, $84 million contract secured via a sign-and-trade arrangement, the forward spent five campaigns with Buffalo from 2021 through 2026, accumulating 139 goals, 170 assists, and 309 total points.
