Flyers Announce Major Series of Injury Updates

The Philadelphia Flyers enter a critical weekend matchup against the Boston Bruins, aiming to snap their winless skid after a dismal start to the 2026-27 NHL season. Struggling with offensive production, the Flyers (0-3-2) face the Bruins (3-2-0) in a must-win game for their early-season momentum, though injuries have further complicated their lineup.

Meanwhile, the Bruins are closing their three-game homestand with key players like Charlie McAvoy nearing a return, while goaltender Linus Ullmark’s availability remains uncertain after recent setbacks. The game, set for Saturday at TD Garden, marks the Flyers’ first opportunity to secure their first victory in six games, though their lack of scoring depth has left them tied for the fewest goals in the league at five-on-five play.
