Florida football news: Jon Sumrall makes firm promise that will scare rest of SEC

Following a convincing victory against Ole Miss, Florida head coach Jon Sumrall issued a bold warning to the rest of the SEC regarding the trajectory of his football program. Addressing whether the team has fully turned a corner, Sumrall remarked that the squad is merely being stirred awake and promised that relentless effort from both coaches and players will soon unleash their true potential.

Running back Jadan Baugh has emerged as an early standout performer, sparking legitimate Heisman discussions with his strong play to begin the season. With the victory secured and several recruits observing from the sidelines over the weekend, the Gators now turn their complete attention toward preparing for an upcoming matchup against Missouri.
