Fernandes, Gakpo & Dorgu join injury list

Several prominent footballers have added to a growing injury crisis during the extended international window. Bruno Fernandes missed Portugal's fixture against Norway after carrying a knock through their previous win over Wales, while Cody Gakpo and Patrick Dorgu both sustained issues during Sunday matches for their respective countries.

The ongoing international break, lengthened by a restructured calendar, has also claimed players such as Alexander Isak, Kai Havertz, Brian Brobbey, Dan Ballard, and Kylian Mbappe.
