Pakistan skipper Sahibzada Farhan has established a new benchmark for men's bilateral T20I series, amassing 238 runs against Sri Lanka to eclipse the previous mark of 229 set by India's Abhishek Sharma earlier this year. Farhan's total, which includes a third straight fifty featuring a 76-run knock off 47 balls in the concluding fixture, places him ahead of New Zealand's Colin Munro (223), Australia's David Warner (217), and Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai (204) on the all-time list for most runs in a three-match series between Full Member nations.
Despite Farhan's individual milestone, Sri Lanka secured an eight-wicket victory in the final match, chasing down Pakistan's 168/8 with 17 balls to spare. Kusal Mendis was instrumental in the chase, remaining unbeaten on 87 from 47 deliveries to earn Player of the Match honors, while his brother Kamindu Mendis provided a crucial contribution after the Powerplay.
The result came after Pakistan had already clinched the series with wins in the first two games, taking the opener by four wickets and the second by 82 runs.
