ESPN has announced a broad multi-network strategy for Super Bowl LXI, marking a historic broadcast milestone for NFL Network. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will lead the primary presentation on ESPN and ABC, while Peyton and Eli Manning host their alternate broadcast on ESPN2.
Additionally, a metrics-based alternate telecast using tracking data will be carried on NFL Network, representing the channel's first live championship game broadcast in its twenty-three-year history. Spanish-language options will be handled by ESPN Deportes and Disney+, alongside a separate production for Univision.
Pat McAfee will also produce a field-level alternate broadcast for ESPNU during the championship event, joined by Dan Orlovsky, Darius Butler, Connor Campbell, Ty Schmit, and Tone Digs. Before the championship fixture, this same analytics-driven alternate feed will air nine times during the regular season on NFL Network, beginning with a fixture between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams.
A rotating cast featuring Field Yates, Chase Daniel, Louis Riddick, and Seth Walder will manage the commentary for that opening weekly broadcast.
