England embrace growing competitiveness of women's game

John Mitchell's squad has adapted to a tighter international landscape following a recent deadlock against Canada at Sandy Park and a narrow triumph over New Zealand at Allianz Stadium. Zoe Harrison secured the latest victory through a decisive late interception try after Braxton Sorensen-McGee had brought the Black Ferns level.

Reflecting on the evolving standard of competition, captain Meg Jones and coach Mitchell emphasized the value of testing themselves in hard-fought matches ahead of the upcoming WXV Global Series.
