Kanter, a former NBA center who was previously barred from an arena earlier this season, announced on social media that he intends to attend the match as a spectator.

The league and the Dream organization have declined to address his expected presence at the event.

Kanter has been actively challenging the WNBA's eligibility rules by claiming to be a transgender woman and expressing opposition to the league potentially allowing such athletes to compete. He recently shared a video compilation of the death threats he has received regarding his plans to travel to Atlanta for the game.
