Dowman scores twice as Arsenal ease past Ipswich LIVE!

Arsenal secured a 4-2 victory against Ipswich Town in their Carabao Cup third-round fixture at Portman Road on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. M Dowman propelled the visitors into an early lead with a strike in the seventh minute, followed shortly by a goal from N Madueke in the 16th minute.

Dowman added his second just after the break in the 47th minute, and M Merino extended the Gunners' tally further in the 58th minute.

Ipswich mounted a late effort, pulling one back through A Mehmeti in the 62nd minute before C Akpom struck during stoppage time in the 91st minute. Despite the late flurry from the hosts, the match concluded after extra time with Arsenal comfortably advancing.
